The Social on Morton is a Delco gem. The owners are genuinely friendly and make you feel like a regular from your first visit. The truffle cheesesteak alone is worth the trip — absolutely delicious. And Amanda behind the bar goes above and beyond every single time. Five stars, easy.
This was our first time visiting The Social on Morton. We stopped in for dinner but ended up ordering a few appetizers and drinks instead. It was a little chilly inside, and while our waitress was kind enough to close the vent near our table, it was still pretty cold throughout our meal. Ordered take out. When I came in to pick up the food I was greeted by the owner himself, Ty. He had his sleeves rolled up, working the bar himself. A pleasant person, full of energy. The food was amazing too. The salmon cheesesteak was extra cheesy with soft bread and moist salmon. The fries were delicious. Slightly crispy on the outside. Pillowy on the inside. And the corn ribs were charred perfectly with a drizzle of the perfect amount of hot sauce.
What a pleasant surprise! I stumbled into this place for dinner with friends from out of town based on reviews. The food was delicious. The calamari was so fresh and delicious. The shrimp skewers were grilled to perfection. The chicken fingers were even tasty! The burger was good but took an unreasonable amount of time to come out. We assume that was a fluke.
