Typically I do not write a lot of reviews because if I did most would not be very nice due to my background. But, my family and I now do an annual family gathering for Thanksgiving at a restaurant because we’re getting older and no one wants to cook and clean up. It’s more about the fellowship. Well, we’re always looking for new places to visit. My brother who lives near Charlotte NC suggested The Smoke Pit. We as a group decided to give it a try. Great food and terrible service ...if they are busy, they will cancel your order ...you show up and are told “sorry, if you want to wait it’s an hour”...they won’t answer the phone . We won’t be back.
