Great time love to show my teenage daughters their other things in life.
This beautiful venue makes me proud as it is a beacon of culture and civility among the noise and chaos of the casino world. All is not stuffy, as some have told me, as we saw and thoroughly enjoyed THE DRUM LINE. The only problem was that our seats happen Ed to be directly behind a row of what appeared to be cast members of a production; they all wore tee shirts advertising The Wizard. It's a beautiful venue. It's elegant and luxurious. The acoustics of the theater are the best for a performance like the one I attended today. It will always be an experience I will never forget . �
The venue is awesome and we had a wonderful time. However the trip there was really somewhat chaotic i.e. the parking lot attendants should have been more strategically place to facilitate arriving guests.
Motown the musical was fantastic. Great cast. Strong performance. High energy from beginning to end. The Smith Center is a fantastic venue for such performances. Great acoustics, comfortable seats, and a beautiful venue. Have has Broadway season tickets since the Smith Center opened. Each season gets bigger and better.
Motown was fabulous! Thoroughly enjoyed the music and the story!
I think the venue is terrific. The production of Motown on 1/22 at 2pm was fantastic. I did want to mention that, while I arrived at 1:40pm, on Symphony we were unable to park until 2:20pm and had to make a late entrance. It appeared an event was going on at the World Market. Parking in front of the Children's Museum for $5 was not available (I usually park there).. Self park for Smith Center was filled up. Signage was poor. Traffic was backed up. I the production of Mowtown the Musical was spectacular! The performers captured the character and the talent was outstanding. Electrifying � I highly recommend everyone should see this � Thank you to the performers and the production teams! Magnificent ����
