We had a wonderful stay! We went for a family wedding . (at another hotel) We stayed at the Simsbury Hotel for 3 nights. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant on Thursday night which was great. We were entertained by a fabulous guitarist! Wedding events were elsewhere on Friday and Saturday. We also used the The Hotel exercise facilities and pool which were very good. The good news is that this family has 3 other daughters who will likely marry at some point. We would absolutely stay at the Simsbury Inn again!
This hotel is older but nicely maintained. We liked using the pool and they put out wine and cheese for the guests each evening. Also the included hot and continental breakfast was decent. The bed however wasn’t comfortable and difficult to sleep on. They really need to buy new mattresses.
