Came for lunch with my mother for the first time looking for a new regular lunch spot, ordered the bento box and hand rolls hoping to try a bunch of different things to see what we liked for next time. When the food came we asked the server if he could split the hand rolls so we could both try. He said "no, we don't do that here." Pretty minor ask and left us feeling judged. Could have been a regular spot, food wasn’t bad - we won't be back. Small hill to lose two customers on.
Highly recommended! Great quality sashimi.
Fresh fish some of which is from Japan. Several dishes we ordered came with real wasabi. It’s a local gem!
We’ve been coming here since they opened—probably well over 10 visits. This was one of our family’s regular spots after taekwondo, where we’d bring friends, celebrate birthdays, and just enjoy an easy meal together. That’s what makes writing this review so disappointing. On our most recent visit, I ordered the udon. The broth was unusually dark—almost black—and overwhelmingly salty.
