This is an older place that has had a lot of use. It is, however, right on the waters edge. We felt lucky to have landed here a on such a busy weekend. You can walk all over town from here. We loved it.
Perfect place to stay especially if your traveling solo and for a short period of time! It’s not an 5 star hotels so if your picky skip this one but it has everything you would need! its right along the beach staff is very nice and friendly. It’s very family oriented. I booked this hotel last minute and drove 7hrs straight and they told me it was fine to check in the morning! I would definitely stay here again
In need of Major repairs, water leaking all over ceiling. Tiles fallen out hanging in hallway. It had fallen all over vending machines and not even taken down. The view would be great if window wasn’t moistured up in the glass
This hotel is a little older but what makes it great is the staff! Monica and everyone other staff member I encountered made me feel more than welcome. I ran into Monica the most though and she definitely went above and beyond to the point where I'll be staying here every trip to Grand Marais.
