Took my 8 year old there for the first time for a haircut. When we arrived, the barber was cutting his finger nails onto the floor and told us " he's busy sharpening his tools" and would be right with us. When he finished cutting his nails he looked at us and said what do you want for a cut? I told him and he did the cut, it came out ok...took maybe 5-10 minutes...then said $32 with his hand out! I’ve been going here for years and always have a great experience. I’ve gotten a haircut from all the barbers that currently operate there. One of the barbers is cash only and always has been cash only, the other accepts debit/credit/cash. I’ve never had an appointment cancelled and never waited more than 5-10 min (usually don’t have to wait at all) for my scheduled appointment. Friendly staff and relatively low cost compared to most places in NH and MA.
I booked an appointment and received a confirmation, but I was turned away after having waited 35 minutes and being told I would be taken next. This was my first experience here and I will not be returning.
I’ve been taking my 4 year old son for a haircut for the past 6 months or so. Pete is very patient and does a great job with kids! The first couple of times my son wouldn’t stay in the chair even for 5 minutes, and Pete still did his best to cut his hair as much as possible. By the time it was my son’s 3rd visit, he realized that it doesn’t hurt and he can watch cartoons while he’s getting the coolest haircut. We used to love coming here because my son gets nice haircut every time until one day he got a terrible haircut. Barber was running behind schedule and was obviously rushing. Very disappointed yet still payed and tip him well.
