Do not go here if you’re queer or getting alternative hair/dye. Learn from my mistake. I came in for an admittedly complicated dye job and had initially asked the owner over the phone if she was comfortable doing more complex alternative hairstyles- namely, raccoon strips. She emphasized that she had a ton of experience with alternative hair and the specific sorts of stripes I was asking for. I've been getting my hair done by Marin for over 10 years, She is hands down the best color specialist I have ever had. Which is saying a lot because I have lived all over southern California and I am super picky. She also gives excellent men's haircuts and beard shaping. She is even great with kids! I took my young nieces and nephew to get their hair cut and they loved her and their hair!
