I’ve been going to The Shop in Covington for over a decade, which makes this review disappointing to write. Unfortunately the service has gone downhill fast. They don’t take appointments, so Saturdays have turned into a fun little game called “show up when we open and hope you win a chair.” More often than not you’re told they’re already booked and to come back later. The service was fantastic! They were able to get me in same-day, which was really convenient. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and they certainly know how to give a great haircut!

I’ve been going to this place since I was young and from my experiences, it has been a complete 50/50 whether I would end up getting a good haircut or not. My recent experience was extremely disappointing, because I had shown the stylist a picture of myself with the hairstyle I wanted and she gave me something completely different. i do my hair cut every two weeks, josh hands down, the best of the best, very detail oriented never had a person how understand my hair better than him , i will recommend him with all my friends, the place is clean josh is very profesional and i really love his work i will continue getting all my hair cuts with him in the future.

Been a customer since before Covid, mostly due to lack of alternatives in MV. Covington location has been going downhill for years, especially on customer service and keeping appointments. I always call ahead for an appointment, always arrive early, always end up getting started 15-25 minutes late. Last time today. Hopefully management can turn this place around.
