Cam in late but key was waiting for us. Room was adequate, clean, air worked. I would advise bringing your own shampoo and conditioner, they provide small tube of 2-1 that was fine for short hair but not long. Staff was nice. Walls are thin, heard the neighbors TV all night. Great location one block from river walk, across the street from Alex Bay Visitor Center, pubs and many restaurants. One block from Uncle Sam Boat tours.
This isn't the Waldorf, if you expect that go to NYC. If you are looking for small-town charm, good-natured fun, and gorgeous sunsets stay in A-bay. The Ship is not fancy but I don't need fancy. I need a clean room and bed. While old, this place met my needs. We had a minor snafu on booking but holy cow the managers fixed it for us. The staff were all extremely kind and responsive. The location is perfect for any bar/restaurant. Will stay again.
Good motel ... We had a short stay. The room was clean, but the bed was uncomfortable. Good for a short accommodation. This hotel was very conveniently located right in the middle of Alexandria Bay, and it was nice to walk anywhere in town.
Needs some real cleaning repair and updating. Room was very small with 2 twin beds and a chair and dresser. The motel has definitely been going down the last few years.
Room was clean, all non smoking in room, towels replenished daily, complimentary coffee, there's wifi, a tv with cable, a hair dryer, fridge and shelf, under sink storage, dresser and night stand storage, ac unit in room had no troubles, hotel right in the center of the town. Chairs comfortable and enough space for an air mattress with 2 queen beds in the room
