DO NOT STAY HERE. One star is two stars too many. The rooms smell like mildew and everything inside feels damp. For $145? Absolutely terrible. The bathroom feels gross and dingy, black matted into the tile and built up in the corners. The sink is cracked beyond repair. I felt more dirty AFTER washing my hands. Very clean and quiet. Good water pressure, modern. I would stay there again
Cam in late but key was waiting for us. Room was adequate, clean, air worked. I would advise bringing your own shampoo and conditioner, they provide small tube of 2-1 that was fine for short hair but not long. Staff was nice. Walls are thin, heard the neighbors TV all night. Great location one block from river walk, across the street from Alex Bay Visitor Center, pubs and many restaurants. One block from Uncle Sam Boat tours.
This isn't the Waldorf, if you expect that go to NYC. If you are looking for small-town charm, good-natured fun, and gorgeous sunsets stay in A-bay. The Ship is not fancy but I don't need fancy. I need a clean room and bed. While old, this place met my needs. We had a minor snafu on booking but holy cow the managers fixed it for us. The staff were all extremely kind and responsive. The location is perfect for any bar/restaurant. Will stay again.
Kind of old, but its right off the strip. 5 minutes to the water and boat tours.
