You can tell the hotel was once a grand and elegant place—but its glory days are clearly behind it. Today, it feels like it’s teetering on the edge of disrepair. We had no hot water during our stay, the internet was unreliable, and the power outlets were so loose that chargers wouldn’t stay plugged in. Serene and enjoyable family getaway, cabin was clean and conveniently located. Plan activities in advance, depending on the time of year, they can get booked up pretty fast. Majority of the staff was very pleasant with the exception of the female who checked us out who did not have a friendly demeanor at all. Other than that, the stay was great and I would recommend it to friends.
Upon arrival, pulled up to drop my bag. Did it myself, while the bag boys just stood there and watched. Then I had to drive 500-600 yards away to park my car, at the back of the parking lot and the bag boys/caddies, did NOT come in a cart to pick me up, so I had to walk another 5-600 yards back to the golf cart and my bag. Really poor service. That was my initial thought upon walking all the way back to my cart. It gets worse! -> Then the manager comes to our cart and yells at us for being late!
