Had an almost 6 hour round the first day then tried to sleep while listening to the neighbors television. We had a 10:40 tee time the second day and arrived to an hour frost delay. I’m not sure how a golf course in the Poconos doesn’t factor in frost when booking times. I wouldn’t waste my time or money to come here again.
Stayed here last night for over $300. Love the looks of the hotel, the setting, and its history. However, the rooms are dated, small, and the furniture is old and worn out. Chairs had no support left, and the box springs in the bed had loud squeaky metal springs. I’d love to come back, but certainly won’t stay in the main inn if I do.
We stayed here during ski trip to Shawnee mountains. Loved the view and very close to the Shawnee mountains. However, the room was really old and outdated. The restaurant had decent dinner selections. We didn't enjoyed the staying in this hotel, only because the room was way too outdated and old.
