I went in to the store yesterday to buy my first chainsaw. I identified myself as a rookie right away and they were very helpful, friendly, knowledgeable, and instructive. They explained the differences and benefits of the various chooses, then they sent me in the back while the mechanic set the saw up. The mechanic spent about a half an hour walking me through the setting up, maintenance, safety, and operation. This was the exact opposite of how you are treated at Home Depot.
