My son and I had lunch at the shanty restaurant in cape Charles va 4/8/2021. Ordered Calamari for starters and it was served not fresh, very chewy. Wait staff was no help getting the problem corrected. Oysters were just so so. Quality of food is poor compared to other times we visited. We will not visit this restaurant again.
We found this restaurant while we were at a nearby cancer center for a few weeks of treatment. We've traveled around the U.S., from Philadelphia to Chicago to Miami to dozens of places in-between and we have yet to find a restaurant that even comes close to rivaling this one.
