This place is great. Cinnamon rolls (warm!) and coffee/tea in the morning. An occasional cuddle from Charlie, the resident dog. Kayaks & canoes. Swimming pool & hot tub. Tennis/pickle ball/basketball/shuffle board court. Fire pits for the evening. Beautiful sunsets. The friendliest owner! Highly recommend. Rooms are clean and comfortable.
Decided to take a short 3-day getaway. We chose The Shallows Resort and we are so happy that we did. From the time we made the reservation till the time we left there everything went perfect. Lori the lady who took the reservation and welcomed us was great she recommended some wonderful places to have breakfast and dinner along with sights to see.
