My first time in Door County and I found this gem amongst all of the options to stay. This will be my go to for all of my future visits. The owner was very friendly, the location was beautiful, the cinnamon rolls and juice in the morning were prefect to get your day going. They offer kayaks and bikes to use while staying there. Watching the sunsets from the shoreline right there and then enjoying a fire in one of the fire pits.
Just had the most relaxing vacation at The Shallows Resort. Nothing better than having Lake Michigan out your back door, a picturesque resort with beautiful sunsets and wooded area. Lori and her staff were very nice and kept the property extremely clean. The pool area was awesome, along with 2 fire pit areas to enjoy at night. Egg Harbor was also a 5 minute drive. We will be back next year for an extended stay. Thank you for a great time!!
