This is a great restaurant especially for a town with very few options. I have been there a few times, and everything was good. The Pizzas are excellent, smoked chicken flavorful, and the burgers do not use frozen meat. There is also a really cool little bar off to the side. They changed ownership mid-2014, and my understanding is that it wasn't as good before.
The decor is non existant just some dead deer on the walls. Mismatched dining tables and 1970's chairs with torn vinyl seats. Food is disgusting, greasy and reheated. Waitress could care less about helping or refilling your drink. I read the reviews and thought tbis place would be good, boy was I wrong! Spent $28 on 2 nasty meals, mcdonalds quality and service is better! Glad I'm a tourist and this is a 1 time stop!
Amazing cheesecake we visited this place for dessert after dinner and they were open later than most places in town. We really enjoyed the local people. One of the girls in the group doesn't consider a dessert a dessert unless it has chocolate but the cheesecake was so good the said it would count as dessert!
Stopped into Shaft for a Burger and Wings. Food is decent, and worth the money. I had the mild wings because of a previous comment, should've done the hot, but good nonetheless. Amber was our server, and what blew me away is my guest asked for a sprite to go, and she took it upon herself to give me an iced tea to go as well without requesting. Good service is about being pro-active, and Amber accomplished this. The food and environment are okay, not many selection in these parts, but service was an A+.
