My experience with The Shade Store has been really great. The showroom is beautiful, the team so knowledgeable and the end result is amazing
I recently purchased shades from The Shade Store, and while the product itself is great, I was extremely disappointed with the overall service. First, I want to acknowledge the personnel in the shop—they were incredibly nice and knowledgeable, which made the shopping experience pleasant. I could easily write a long review with a litany of complaints, but I will save myself the trouble. Suffice it to say, the only time the store stays in touch with you is when they are trying to make a sale. After that, good luck connecting with your representative and getting your needs met. Autumn sells hard. it's annoying. Email after email with lots of pressure to place your order. Be aware that after the sale she couldn't care less about you. Website said walk ins or appointments. I drove 1 hour roundtrip to get to San Rafael showroom during time website said they were open 12-5pm on Sunday and store was closed! Very misleading and waste of my time. Website should say appointments only, no exceptions!
