A terrible experience. I ordered a shade in April and the measurer measured the window incorrectly. When the shade arrived , it did not fit. The installer broke my existing shade so I have paper shades up that do not protect against sunlight so we are up at 4:30 in the morning when the sun rises. It is now mid June and still I am waiting. The installer was supposed to come today and this morning they canceled the appointment and want to reschedule for mid July. A great experience at the Shade Store in Harvard Sq. Darine was extremely helpful and pointed me in the right direction for my space. It was seamless working with her and I'm really happy with my new shades! Highly recommend.
I was delighted with the customer service from start to finish with The Shade Store in on Brattle Street in Cambridge. Darine suggested shades that worked perfectly for my sun facing windows. Matt who came to the house for measuring the windows had knowledge and several years of service with the store. The final step was to install the blinds and Frank was the installer, again him being someone the the business for years. I highly recommend The Shade Store for the great care and customer service.
