We worked with Kristin at the Berkeley showroom to select shades for our entire house, and I truly couldn’t be happier with the experience or the result. We got a great product (shade and 2 different kinds of blinds) and great service. Our rep, Kristin, at the Shade Store was helpful and communicative. Measuring and installing were easy for the most part. I knocked off a star because we had some issues with products damaged in transit that had to be replaced. They were replaced with no additional cost but it was extra time waiting for a new install time.
My second time buying a window shade from The Shade Store in Berkeley and it once again was a great experience. Years in between and amazingly I had the same excellent sales person, Kristin, who was so helpful, knowledgeable and understood just what I needed. I added a window to the same room I previously bought a shade for and she was able to look up what I had bought years before so as to match it. The shade came quickly and the installation was easy and fast. Looks beautiful. I’m sure I will be back again.

Kristin was super helpful in assisting me to come up with a workable solution for my problem of light entering in through the edges of my blinds without ever pushing me to buy unnecessary products or even having to come into the store!
