I had a great experience working with Darren at The Shade Store, located at 313 Columbus Ave. There is a wide selection of fabrics and styles to choose from. Darren was extremely helpful. He was patient and answered all of my questions. The technicians who measured my windows and installed the shades arrived just when they said they would. And, most importantly, our new shades look fabulous!
Truly a seamless, wonderful experience. My designer and sales associate Darron was knowledgeable and quick to respond to all communication. I wouldn’t hesitate to go to Darron and the shade store for my next apartment!
Perhaps I’m in the minority, but I’ve had the worst experience with the Shade Store, and Delia in particular. After starting the process of a pair of custom shades for my first home in January, it’s now June and I still have no answer on the status. The first time, the final shades didn’t match the sample swatch I received, but luckily we had plenty of time to correct the issue and proceeded with a COM remake order in early May. The worst shade store ever be? I could hardly reach to my sales person after I purchased my 10k drapery because she only works 2-3 days a week(I receive auto reply every single time I send email to her) and doesn't reply on email every time. Part of my drapery also been shipped to a wrong address and I have to pick up to the correct address myself(is this insane?) The installation appointment waiting time was 5 weeks.
