This has unfortunately been one of the worst product and customer service experiences I've ever had. The shades were delayed multiple times and when they were finally installed it was done quickly and poorly, and it made it clear the initial "custom" measurements made by The Shade Store were incorrect. I've been in the process of trying to fix the shades for 4 months and The Shade Store has not made any efforts to fix their mistakes. Very disappointing, especially for an expensive product!
My new shades are lovely. Kate at the Columbus Ave store was very kind and helpful during the selection process, and Max, who installed them, was very nice and professional. Credit also goes to the man who measured my windows and the helpful sales person at the Broadway store who further advised about the types of shades. Overall, a very positive experience!
If you're looking for window treatments, you absolutely need to work with Darron! He made what we thought would be a stressful process an absolute pleasure. Darron has a fantastic eye for design and gave us such great advice on combining roller shades and drapes to achieve the look we wanted. He was incredibly respectful of our budget, a wonderful communicator, and stayed on top of everything from design to delivery. Working with Kate at The Shade Store (on Columbus Avenue) was a 100% great experience. She was responsive, helpful and patient. The blinds came on time and were installed quickly and perfectly. I am very happy with my overall experience and will certainly return to them for future window projects.
