I had a fantastic experience with Allan, he was incredibly knowledgable and professional. From the day I signed my deposit to the day I received my installation was less than 5 weeks! Can’t recommend them enough.
I’ll give two stars because my experience 2 years ago was great, but this time around I didn’t even get my product. I went to this company in August to get matching shutters for the other bathroom, and they estimated it would be installed end of September. After months of waiting and calling, as well as visiting in person, no one would give me an order status update or any information. Tried the cell number of the salesman and he never answered. The first draperies I ordered in February, 2025 arrived 2 months later, were measured incorrectly and could not be installed. The owner took back the drapes and I ordered another set. It is now September and they have not yet been installed. I went to the shop twice and called innumerable times. I have a large sliding glass door in my living room facing the street which has been without cover since February. Owner does not return calls. My experience was appalling. I ordered custom shades in May, with a delivery estimate of six weeks. Paid $700.00 down. Months went by. I emailed, and called, and even visited the store in person twice, and was given repeated evasive answers. I have requested a return of my deposit, and have had no response. The whole thing has been disheartening.
We had the best experience with The Shade and Shutter Shop! We called and had a measurement appointment next day! Professional, prompt, explained anything we needed to know. And reasonable!! Hakim, the installer, was great!! When he wasn't pleased with a couple things, he told us exactly what he didn't like and then fixed it and made sure it was right. A Local Business, too - so absolutely recommend them!
