The Shade and Shutter Shop is outstanding. The shutters are terrific and installation was outstanding. We couldn't be happier with the final result! I called a couple years after the initial install to reverse the direction for opening of two shutters due to purchasing new furniture that would create an issue for opening the shutters to get to the window and screen. No problem. Alan had his installer come out almost immediately who reversed them in about 1/2 hour.
I had a fantastic experience with Allan, he was incredibly knowledgable and professional. From the day I signed my deposit to the day I received my installation was less than 5 weeks! Can’t recommend them enough.
I’ll give two stars because my experience 2 years ago was great, but this time around I didn’t even get my product. I went to this company in August to get matching shutters for the other bathroom, and they estimated it would be installed end of September. After months of waiting and calling, as well as visiting in person, no one would give me an order status update or any information. Tried the cell number of the salesman and he never answered. The first draperies I ordered in February, 2025 arrived 2 months later, were measured incorrectly and could not be installed. The owner took back the drapes and I ordered another set. It is now September and they have not yet been installed. I went to the shop twice and called innumerable times. I have a large sliding glass door in my living room facing the street which has been without cover since February. Owner does not return calls. My experience was appalling. I ordered custom shades in May, with a delivery estimate of six weeks. Paid $700.00 down. Months went by. I emailed, and called, and even visited the store in person twice, and was given repeated evasive answers. I have requested a return of my deposit, and have had no response. The whole thing has been disheartening.
