I can't understand everyone's view (apart from the top review that agrees with me) that these women are pleasant 'lovely'!!! I found the older woman to be soooo rude, no people's skills and downright unpleasant! Extremely expensive, £28 for a short jacket zip and when I tried to talk to her she cut me dead and the younger woman just ignored me altogether! It was so bad I got my husband to collect the jacket and he was met with the same cold rudeness! Never again! If they don't want to be there maybe close up!!
Extremely disappointed with the service. Seamstress is rude, given the wrong quote twice, even when I mentioned the jobs that needed doing to my wedding dress. She said she ‘forgot’ about it and not written down even though the pin was still in the dress, and the jobs requested is expected to be included in the quote. This happened twice!! Charges a fortune for doing the bare minimum and claims she has done the jobs. The dress should have been done now with my wedding 2 weeks to go! Rung up the sewing studio Norton 23/05/24 requesting alterations for my sisters prom dress. I spoke to an extremely rude women on the phone who stated to “just come down and we’ll give you a price”. Never stated a need for an appointment. Myself and my family went down today and were rejected by what seemed to be the owner of the shop stating we could not be seen at all because we didn’t have an appointment although on the phone we where told we didn’t need one. Would definitely recommend the Sewing Studio, women there were all lovely, nothing was too much trouble and they did an amazing job altering my wedding dress and were an affordable. Really appreciate it and would recommend :)
