OMG, this is an oasis and a wonderful place to learn sewing for new and long-time sewists. Staff is incredible as well as the owner, Melissa, who really pours her heart into the world of sewing and quilting etc. We need to get younger folks interested again because this is an absolutely fantastic way to spend one's time creating for oneself and learning a skill that lasts forever!
I signed up for the basic Learn to Sew class at this shop after a friend recommended it, and I’m so glad I did! The class was a great introduction to sewing for garments, and I loved that many of the other folks in the class were also interested in garment sewing—it’s clear there’s a growing community for that here in Fort Collins. I have taken sewing garments lessons here, and I have spend many happy times looking through their beautiful fabrics. Just today I found a beautiful shade of linen to make stuffed animal for my newest little neighbor. Great people, great selection
This is such a great quilt shop. I’ve only taken one class here, but it was a lot of fun and I learned some new techniques and how to use some new products. On my most recent visit Ryn was super helpful getting me the right materials I needed. I had fun picking out some new fabrics with her and she had a lot of really good suggestions for colors I needed. I think for anybody working on a fabric project, this is a great place to visit – – they are really interested in helping people be successful with their projects.
