I had an amazing taster lesson where everyone was really welcoming and kind. The instructor Jack was incredibly helpful and patient with me as well as really knowledgeable. He clearly explained and demonstrated each exercise and took the time to correct people's techniques. I look forward to coming again.
Jack is a great teacher. He explains the technique really well and helps you get it right while you practice. It’s an encouraging, friendly and positive environment. Would highly recommend!
A great private session hosted by the brilliant Jack for an adult and three girls between 11 and 14. Informative and enjoyable. A really useful taster session - we hope to join the group sessions soon.
Very well run and excellent academy. Warm and welcoming atmosphere, disciplined without being pressured, and a genuinely positive approach. Lots of good humour while working hard. Recommended.
The Self-Defence Academy runs excellent Krav Maga classes for various ages and skill levels. The atmosphere is welcoming, and classes are led by an expert instructor who clearly explains, demonstrates and helps to practice different types of self-defence. Following a Krav Maga syllabus, the sessions include sparring, exercises, drills and technical defences against various types of attacks. It’s a great Club for anyone looking to learn effective self-defence while improving overall fitness.
