I was expecting a premium experience. For the outrageous gobsmacking cost, it was a pretty average hotel room. The view was fabulous, no doubt. Direct view of the opera house and harbour bridge. The room was not completely clean, there were long black hairs all over the floor which were still there after I asked for the room/floor to be cleaned. This is the second stay at this hotel. I had talked it up for years to my family and was thrilled to find my husband was as blown away with it as I had built his expectations up. The view from our 2 bed harbour view room was spectacular and I could have sat by the window watching the world go by all day and night. We had a fabulous stay at the Sebel. The staff were lovely, the renovated apartment was clean, comfortable and inviting. The view of the harbour and the spaciousness of the apartment was a delight. The location is excellent with everything at your fingertips - restaurants, transport (ferry, light rail or trains), amazing walks either on the harbour foreshore or around the Rocks to Barangaroo. I would recommend staying here.
