Try the Seafarer – Had not eaten at the seararer for a few years. My wife and I recently tried the seafarer and had a very good experience. My wife had a seafood platter and I had the whole flounder. I love flounder but don't recommend the fried flounder as the filets were very small. They do have a good white fish that you can order on the platter that is very good. The best slaw and tarter sauce at any price anywhere!! This place has been around since the 80s and its famous cousin, South 21, has been around since 1955. The staff is great and all the food is great. You won't find better onion rings,slaw or tarter sauce anywhere.
Best Catfish in Town! – It's too bad the previous couple didn't just talk to the manager about this waitress, as he would have done backflips to have tried to make things right for you. Trust me, a waitress of that sort would not last long at the Seafarer. My husband and I eat here all the time. Laid back Atmosphere w/ Friendly Staff Seafarer is family restaurant that knows good customer service. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable with the menu. The food is good and reasonably priced. There is a kids menu. Good place to take the family for a good meal.
The big whale I love seafood, but this restaurant didn't do it for me. I have eaten there twice. That was enough for me. The wait staff friendly and restuarant was clean but the food was not all that.
Servers do not wash hands after restroom – My wife and I went for dinner last night and the service was very poor. Our server was very rude. I can not forget her name was Angel because I remember thinking she was the exact opposite. She had a very bad attitude the whole night. After we had ordered our food my wife went to the restroom.
