Best ice cream in the area. Reasonably priced. Gluten free cones. Hard and Soft serve. Variety of toppings.
I’ve been coming here for years. It’s a neighborhood institution, a local gem, and an all around excellent experience. It reminds me of the small town family run ice cream places I grew up with, and I’m very grateful to have something like this accessible in my adult life as well. I usually go simple and get the soft serve with sprinkles, but the hard cream is always amazing too! Highly recommend!
Hidden neighborhood gem. I laugh seeing people in line over at van leeuwen’s. Why? To pay $9 for the tiniest scoop of your life? Walk right over here and get a larger portion for $5. Please support this place so we can keep fairly priced businesses open in Williamsburg / Greenpoint.

Review 2026: Conditions have generally gotten worse. As others have noted the service is often slow and disorganized. They will ask multiple times in some cases what your order was. The ice cream remains tasty and it's nice to have in the neighborhood but is frequently packed, not running well, and service can be hit or miss and is now occasionally disengaged if not openly unfriendly.
