Schiit Audio & The Schiitr Where do I begin? My association with Schiit began in a rather benign way - I’d had a house fire a few months before, and most of what I’d considered “respectable” audio gear had been FUBAR’d from either smoke or direct heat damage. EDIT 9/29/24 Shame to here that the place is closing down, was planning returning after my first visit. Stumbled across Schitt on a recent trip to Newhall and to say I've struck gold is an gross understatement. A cozy little store right by the Metrolink station. It was kept nice and cold, a welcome sight with all the heat we have been having recently. In addition to complementary coffee and water. I got to visit the last Friday of CA Schiitr existence. Will is an outstanding host at the Schiitr! I spoke with him twice prior to visiting. He has so much warmth, enthusiasm, graciousness, and it is very awesome to call Schiit Audio and get to actually talk to someone! Especially like Will! So enjoyed getting to hear many of Schiit’s excellent products at one time, without having to purchase and audition. Several products stood out! Very sad to see this place go but it was an awesome experience to see and be in it. The store felt very intimate and familiar and it was awesome to be able to try out the equipment. Great people and great conversations to be had here. Will was super friendly and knowledgeable and overall just a cool guy to hangout with. It will be sorely missed!
