Dropped my husband off at TPC Sawgrass and headed right over to The Spa. Arrived at 9:30 napped in the relaxation room until my 11:00 CBD wrap with scalp and foot treatments, which was incredible, then got a the most relaxing facial of my life. Everything was clean. Each employee I encountered was a delight. You do not need to stay at the hotel to enjoy The Spa.
I stayed at the property and got access to the spa amenities for free with my gold Marriott membership (or higher); otherwise it’s about $20 I believe! It has a jacuzzi (max 7 ppl) , dry & wet sauna; showers, relaxation room, coffee:tea bar with fruits, nuts and water; heated outdoor pool and mini bar. The gym is also equipped with all the basics.
It’s hard to believe Marriott Sawgrass hosts PGA events but its Spa is so sad. I recently received a 50 minute massage here for $171.00. The facilities beyond the lobby are dated. In the locker room there was an artificial plant on display in disrepair and so covered with dust it should be trashed. When you go to a Spa, you expect the shower to have a wow factor. Not at here. Had a massage with Giovanni and it was truly amazing. He was able to massage my hands and feet wonderfully and it felt peaceful and still when done
Got a day pass to enjoy the pool, sauna and other amenities plus lunch. Staff was very friendly and kind particularly the woman’s attendant Rosa. As a local, it was really nice to enjoy a staycation for the day!
