My first time in was yesterday..I was greeted by the owner when I walked in. She was so helpful in explaining everything around the store. I bought more than I anticipated and oh my word! That creamy lemon chicken artichoke dinner was to die for. My husband kept complimenting me for it! Haha!! I will be back pawning more dinners off at home as my own...
Tonight my husband and I had The Sauce Lady’s Osso Bucco. Wow! It was amazing. The meat was tender and flavorful. I’ve been going to buy Ella’s Sauce since she was at the flee market, it is bar none the best Italian food I’ve eaten since my Godmother Mama Alergro’s everything is from scratch. I can’t choose I love it all but my husband’s favorite is Chicken Marsala, it’s great for an emergency dinner or a lazy day. You must try!
The food is continually excellent. The regular menu items have been mastered and are their own recipes. New menu items are being added but not until proven to be up the their standard of excellence. Not a sit down restaurant but rather stop and pick up something for dinner. Or, do what we do and keep a few items in your freezer. The best!
The Sauce Lady is Naples best kept secret. Delicious, quality food all ready to go. It's the real deal Italian food in a very convenient location. Enjoy!
