Made a reservation for a vacation to an Oceanside rental for Dec 2021. Paid in full completely up front with the agreement that if we cancelled within 3 days of the start of the reservation that we would be fully refunded. We let Shannon Marino know a full month in advance that we would not be able to make the trip. It is now July of the following year and we still have not received a single penny of our $5,000 we paid her. Run, run as fast as you can from this scam of a "business."
Contacted Shannon months in advance, she was going to work up a lease and ghosted me a month before my stay. Contacted via text, no answer. Contacted the main line and still no answer. Contacted via email, still no answer. Seemed beyond accommodating at first then once all the details were ironed out not two weeks later the agent became unreachable. If it was booked, fine, but let me know, don't just blatantly ignore anyone. Terribly unprofessional.
