I attended for a colour and cut, with inspo pics and videos. I was booked for highlights and this is what I asked for, but left with balayage. The worker doing my hair was extremely clumsy and dropped every single thing he touched (the hairbrush, the dryer, the hair dye, the foils etc). He got dye all over the place, on the walls and on my face (which he didn’t notice and I had to wipe before it stained my cheek). He also got bleach on the shirt I was wearing. Had a fantastic experience at The Sandy Chair with Mariana. He is incredibly knowledgeable and really focuses on keeping hair healthy, not just on the immediate colour result. He explained why my fine blonde hair had been getting dry and brassy from foils and moved me to a tint-based blonde instead and the difference is already noticeable. I recently attended The Sandy Chair for the first time, on the recommendation of a friend who is a client here (who was similarly recommended by a friend of hers!). Aaliyah gave me beautiful balayage highlights, the perfect complementary blonde colour for my skin tone, exactly what I was hoping for but had not previously been able to achieve.
