I was very disappointed with some of rules, constantly being told this is for your own good to the point I don't believe it. Understaffed, I saw my counselor once in a month. Boiler wasn't working on my side of the building and I was given a sleeping blanket to use for over a week instead of just fixing it. Waking up cold, with runny nose. No cough syrup or honey and limited cough candies. I was told I couldn't buy and bring cough candies back. For my own good of course. I left for Christmas and won't be returning. Horrible place. Went here and was removed and sent to a shelter without any help and it caused a relapse and it almost cost my life. This place is very archaic in their practices and beliefs. Find place to go trust me.
Its a good place, well maintained and clean given its age and the staff are hard working. Big thanks to Dave, Will, Kim, Karen, Korina and Dylaney for all the good they do.
This place saved my brothers life, they don't put up with bull shit if your not serious about getting clean they will kick you out(which they should) as some people do actually want to recover.They are strict which is needed...tons of programs to keep busy.. The fact that they actually teach addicts how to live a clean life and not just throw them back out into the streets with no help is amazing...
