I arrived at this Salvation Army center with hope, but it's a place of rigid rules and little compassion. I was kicked out for "refusing medical advice" after an injection made me feel weak. I declined an ambulance, and even the paramedics agreed it wasn't needed, but management still evicted me. The staff lacked basic human decency. I know of person with undiagnosed mental issues after been moved into the 2nd stage housing and the 1st months rent ends they evicted her out . They have on site staff to help with mental health but no help was done for her.. I guess there way of helping the undiagnosed clients is when they cant help is to evict them and no shes homeless again and with no direction and undiagnosedmental illness . This help to END homelessness ( 10 yr plan )
