Get directionsI arrived at this Salvation Army center with hope, but it's a place of rigid rules and little compassion. I was kicked out for "refusing medical advice" after an injection made me feel weak. I declined an ambulance, and even the paramedics agreed it wasn't needed, but management still evicted me. The staff lacked basic human decency. They gossiped about my urinary incontinence and refused to help, calling it "beyond their scope" even though I managed it myself. I know of person with undiagnosed mental issues after been moved into the 2nd stage housing and the 1st months rent ends they evicted her out . They have on site staff to help with mental health but no help was done for her.. I guess there way of helping the undiagnosed clients is when they cant help is to evict them and no shes homeless again and with no direction and undiagnosedmental illness . This help to END homelessness ( 10 yr plan )
