TL;DR: Poor communication when donating items. Scheduled an appt to donate a glider chair. The next day, I get a phone call confirming the date. They ask me to submit photos of the chair before they confirm or reject the donation, and provide a phone number to which I can text the photos. I try to text the phone number the photos, but have technical difficulties, so I ask for an email. An email is provided 4hrs later. SURRENDER YOUR ADDICTION AND BEGIN AGAIN! For anyone struggling with addiction, or that knows a loved one struggling, this place can be a saving grace. I spent my teens and 20's a slave to drugs, state rehab, jail, none of it worked. 12 years clean now and The Salvation Army ARC in Milwaukee welcomed me with open arms, no questions asked.
