If you're ever in Greenport, this is a sweet place to stay in. It was cozy and inviting, and reminded me that our modern days always need a little historical charm. The firepit outside was a sweet touch to the summer night. We had amazing hosts who were responsive and informative. I would love to stay here again should we need to come into Greenport in the future.
The house is amazing with beautiful amenities! Pictures do not do the house justice to how beautiful and charming the house it. This is a great house for a get-away. I will forever keep coming back to this charming house ✨

Much to my chagrin, I've never stayed at The Saltbox. However, I did live nextdoor to it for several years and always thought it was the most charming house in Greenport. The exterior of the building is very handsome and the backyard is adorably inviting. As an 18th c. historic interiors/decorative arts historian, I was always so curious to see inside and now I have! Had such a great time at the SaltBox! Loved that it was walking distance to so many activities. The kitchen was fully stocked and the charm of the house was just like it was pictured. Shoutout to the hosts for leaving an amazing welcome basket with gift cards to local shops, including a spot for my pup! Was grateful that the hosts were so prepared with a guidebook and information about the home because I was arriving late at night and had no issues.
