I visited the Maryland and DC location a few years back and they were some of the best seafood I’ve had. We decided to try this location on our way through the DMV. This location and time both of our meals were bland. My mom ordered the lobster roll and it was small and didn’t have much seasoning. I ordered the cod and was disappointed in the seasoning as well.
My Fiancé made an outdoor reservation here for my birthday, and after arriving was told that because it had rained briefly (roughly 10 minutes) they were no longer serving outside. We were then informed that the rest of the restaurant was fully booked and that our only option was to "try the bar." It's extremely disappointing for a restaurant to accept and confirm reservations without having a reasonable contingency plan in place for a short rain shower. I’ve been here several time while traveling for business but this time just fell flat - mostly because of our server. He seemed almost annoyed to be waiting on us and left us very disappointed in our dinner.
