Let me preface this review by saying that the Sage at 1240 has undergone some management and personnel changes since the time I started renting with them to the time I moved out. Originally my apartment was rough around the edges with some things I needed to put maintenance requests in with, no biggie. But in the months that followed it was like pulling teeth to talk to anyone. Extremely poor communication throughout the entire application process. The leasing office and their third-party screening service clearly don’t communicate with each other, and as an applicant, you’re left with vague, generic responses and no clear explanation for decisions. I was referred to an outside email address instead of receiving a direct, transparent reason for denial, which feels dismissive and unprofessional.
