Refrigerator broke down half way into trip so losing our food (over $150 worth) was not good.

We enjoyed our trip from Chicago up to the UP. Rented the Thor twist Ram van and it ran well...easy to drive and got good mileage (17 mpg) We didn't really like the layout as we went to campsites and used their shower. We felt that space was wasted in the van. Also we were given a plastic tote with dishes in it and this wasted space too. Better to put that stuff in cabinet. The van wasn't cleaned and the 220 hookup was damaged 😢. Upon returning we had to travel to a remote local to return and that was a pain.

When I gave these 5 stars I was looking for more than 5. Shane and (Brad? I think is his name) were amazing. I have a ton of camping experience with travel trailers, but just haven't pulled the trigger on another one. I reached out for this rental to take my wife and two 12-year-old daughters somewhere that allowed an experience without the typical tourist stuff, and limited need for electronics. I enjoyed my experience of renting with RV Rental Factory. Although my reservation did not start with them since they acquired the company I originally rented from, I felt that they were easier to work with than the previous company. They were more flexible with the return than other companies I have dealt with. The RV performed well and had all of the items I expected. The pick up and return process went smoothly. I will work them again for my RV Rental needs.
