We stayed at the Russell several weeks ago, and were vey happy with it. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, and the hotel is in an excellent location for Vivid Sydney (the primary reason for our visit); it's also well-situated for travelling around town via train, bus, and ferry. The rooms are a bit small, but very clean and quiet.
A fantastic hotel in a great location with everything one needs - inclusive of a delicious restaurant and the oldest pub in Sydney in one building! Staff were superb and rooms outstanding!! Love it and will be back :-)
