Great location however too many stairs for elderly. No airconditioning and very noisy at night - lots of partying going on downstairs. Rooms very nicely done up however very hot. A fan does not suffice.
My room #10 on 3rd floor faces the street and circular quay, but did not hear noise and slept well on Friday and Saturday nights. Very comfortable bed. I had to use the outside bathroom, but can accept a slight incovienience. The hotel has a few stairs, but I managed with my heavy luggage. During checkout I was told to pay $5 for minibar chochlate, but I did not touch any item during my stay. Remind myself next time to take a photo of the minibar as soon as I check in. Amazing. Absolutely enjoyed my stay. Staff were all lovely and welcoming. Had an amazing meal for the breakfast and the staff were so amazing. The guy with the amazing beard was gold star. Happy to answer questions and help. Definitely recommend coming here and we will be back. Thank you.
A lovely historic hotel in the heart of the Rocks, with a great location near to both transport, amazing restaurants, cafes and more. Attached to the Fortune of War Pub, the extensive five year renovation really shows, with a lot of effort put into the design of the hotel from the rooms to the public spaces.
