I’m way overdue in posting a review of my favorite restaurant! I heartily agree and cheer on all the things mentioned by the other 5 star reviewers, so I don’t need to repeat. I love beauty- I love unique food- I love kindness. Rumpled Queen has this in spades. The food is always surprising and the wait staff is excellent. The menu is very limited and extremely pricey. Ordered the steak frittes, requested "medium" and got closer to rare, it was nicely seasoned. Took a good while for our server to approach and even start the process of asking for drinks. It took so long that we decided to throw our drink order, appetizer selections, and main course at her all at once. We were concerned it would take forever to get her back to the table. The restaurant is beautiful inside and out; another reviewer said there wasn’t enough room between the tables; I didn’t experience that as the tables appeared adequately spaced. Service was top notch except for when she guilted my friend for eating her whole dessert, stating it was too rich to eat it all.
