My wife and I enjoyed two amazing meals at the Ruddy Duck, during our week long stay at the WorldMark Running Y Resort. We had breakfast on our first morning and while there made a reservation for dinner the next evening, which happened to be our 54th wedding anniversary. When we arrived we found that our breakfast server had made a note about our celebration, and we had the best window table in the restaurant reserved for us. We where skeptical to eat here based on the 3.8 stars. However, our three courses were spaced perfectly and the food and service was good. Great views from the patio.
After reading the reviews here I was very concerned but we were already there. We rolled the dice and went for it! I ordered the steak and my boyfriend ordered the salmon. He got the ceser salad with his. It was out and amazing in less then 15. Our food was out shortly after that. It was hot and fresh! Everything was amazing and the service was great! It wasn't a busy night and I could see how they could get impacted if busy... I'd eat there again!
This place is OUT of this world!!! Everything was bursting with flavor! We had the chicken fried steak, of which we took home with us to the Bay Area where we reheat and eat the next day!!! It was THAT good!! The scram-bowl again loads of flavor, and finally the stuffed French toast, which wasn’t too sweet. Lunch has this incredible chicken sandwich that I could eat everyday for the rest of my life!!!!! Each dish was just under $20. The chef needs a raise!!!
