Hmm.. ate here three times during our stay. I had the Dijon pork. First time ordered it to go (they don’t have room service) it was ready in 20 mins however it was undercooked. Microwaved it and made it work because I was tired. Tried again dining in and it was cooked, but service was slow, almost non existent but yet frantic and short when attending to us. Next morning tried breakfast (it’s convenient to eat at the hotel OK!!) biscuits and gravy, what could go wrong? It was cold, biscuit was dry and gravy was bland. I felt ... read more
Even though they seem short staffed, the team did a great job of providing excellent service. I had the smash burger, would highly recommend it. If you're staying at the resort, then the prices are what you would expect for a meal of this quality.
Atmosphere is great, love the overall look of the bar & outside area. Service was TERRIBLE! We were there on Sunday afternoon (9/6 @ 1:30p) , mellow day with only a few other patrons. The food may have been better if server was attentive.....Cold fries, Hamburgers were overcooked and hard by the time they were served! For $20+ burgers I expect something edible. Server seemed very disgruntled, didn't greet or say goodbye!
My wife and I enjoyed two amazing meals at the Ruddy Duck, during our week long stay at the WorldMark Running Y Resort. We had breakfast on our first morning and while there made a reservation for dinner the next evening, which happened to be our 54th wedding anniversary. When we arrived we found that our breakfast server had made a note about our celebration, and we had the best window table in the restaurant reserved for us. We where skeptical to eat here based on the 3.8 stars. However, our three courses were spaced perfectly and the food and service was good. Great views from the patio.
