On Sunday, August 2, I ate at The Royale in Pleasant Hill. This is my second time eating here. I usually don't repeat restaurants unless they're very good and let me tell you, The Royale is better than good, it's amazing! The Royale has hands down the best French toast I've ever eaten. Disappointing food and if looking for a great breakfast, you should avoid it. I recently visited The Royale, and it was an absolute disaster. I ordered the avocado croissant, which arrived topped with a fluffy egg and beautifully arranged vegetables. Unfortunately, looks can be completely deceiving. Terrible food and even worse customer service. Visited for breakfast hoping for a pleasant meal, but it was an absolute disaster from start to finish. I ordered a croissant and salmon dish, and what arrived at the table was completely inedible. The croissant was ice cold, and the entire dish was aggressively dry. Super friendly staff, very tasty eggs Benedict and avocado toast, fun non-alcoholic drinks and awesome presentation of everything we saw. Highly recommend!
