I was discharged by a resident as specialists essentially gave up trying to find out what was wrong and couldn’t give me an answer. Honestly I don’t understand where the bad reviews are coming from. ED is extremely busy and they see patients in order of clinical priority And stop accusing the staff of racism for waiting too long plz!!! I’m an international student, and the multiple times I’ve visited I was always being seen and treated quickly. If you’re going to the ED for a cold or fever no wonder why you’re waiting for 6 hrs
I do not recommend visiting ER unless you are pregnant or have a high-priority emergency. I give two stars due to the swift and kind reception staff and triage nurse when I first arrived. We arrived after 3 pm and left after 11 pm. I paid 650 AUD for this visit out of pocket. (temporary resident, private health insurance) I experienced a miscarriage at 12 weeks. I went on Sunday afternoon with heavy bleeding (soaking several pads), severe cramping (pain 8 out of 10), and could barely walk. I waited 3.5 hours in the waiting a... read more
