I recently attended ( 20/ 06 at 10pm ) the Royal Melbourne Hospital Emergency Department due to severe trigeminal pain that I could no longer tolerate, despite taking my prescribed medication. After waiting approximately 8 hours in the reception area and then a further 3 hours inside the department, I was informed that there was only one doctor available at that time to attend to all the patients waiting. Everyone was so lovely though, I had Dr Demeo and nurse Verity who where just so kind and amazing. I feel like we wouldn't have been able to make some good jokes if I had been able to speak... read more
