Most pleasant ER experience I've ever had. Dr Grey Price is an absolute weapon. I was completely overwhelmed by fear of my sudden symptoms in the ED and within moments of being called in he distilled the facts, explained everything simply in a way I could understand, laid out next steps and got the ball rolling immediately. I came to the ED because I was suffering from a skin infection and waited for around 6 hours to be seen by a doctor. When the doctor finally came, I was told, “Why did you come here? There’s no dermatologist available at this time.” I was extremely disappointed. If this was the case, the nursing staff could have explained this to me when I first arrived, rather than leaving me waiting for 6 hours only to be told that the appropriate specialist wasn’t available. Thank you to the RMH Emergency Department team I attended the Royal Melbourne Hospital Emergency Department on Saturday, 26 September 2026,and I would like to sincerely thank the team who cared for me. I was especially grateful to Dr Emma and Dr Adelaide, who treated me during my visit. They were incredibly caring, patient, attentive and compassionate. I attended RMH ED with my husband on Tuesday 22/9/26. My husband had a fall at home and was in a lot of pain. We only had to wait about 1.5 hrs before he was seen by Dr Matthew Bray who advised him he would be given a bed shortly. He was extremely caring and concerned and true to his word my husband was seen shortly afterwards. I cannot commend the staff who treated my husband highly enough.
