It’s been ten years since our wedding and people are still talking about our cake! Not only was it delicious, it was absolutely beautiful. So many people could not believe it was real! Everything exactly as I wanted. Unfortunately we had to throw away our top tier as it was ruined due to Hurricane Gustave.
The absolute best-tasting cake you will ever eat! I cannot recommend this place enough!

I can't give enough praise to The Royal Bakery! Our wedding cake was one of our favorite things about the night- it was absolutely perfect! I was able to look through their pictures and tell her my ideas. And for our groom's cake, they did a beautiful replication of a wine bottle! We just celebrated our first year, ate the top tier, and remember just how amazing it was! If you aren't convinced by the pictures, then do a tasting and you'll be in love!
It does not get better than this. My Aunt Joe use to have me get her a rum cake and drop it off to her and my Uncle Charles. It was so funny to see her fuss at him because he would get 1 slice then get up and get another slice. Aunt Joe would say stop eating up all the cake that is for my meeting. I really miss my Aunt Joe and those times. I would like to thank The Royal Cakery for bring a smile on her face when I would walk in the house with her rum cake. That is just priceless to me. Royal Cakery truly has the BEST wedding cakes in all of New Orleans! Mrs. Shirelle is a pleasure to work with and did a FLAWLESS job with our difficult design. She is an absolute perfectionist when it comes to her craft. THANK YOU!
