Not the most beautiful of areas but this pub is a complete gem. The food is way above the level of the usual pub offerings but at the same price point, with well-sourced ingredients, skillfully cooked and plated. I had scallops followed by flat iron steak with pommes anna. Delicious. The staff are lovely too.
Lovely food. I had one of the best pies I’ve ever had and partner had Sunday dinner. Really impressed even more so by the staff dealing with a very rude customer as we was paying. 10/10 will be back
Rebecca's service was amazing, Sunday roast was one of the best we have had in a long time. Mash potatoes were gorgeous.
Staff were lovely. The food was nice but they are very mean with the roast potatoes and the veg. I asked for some more veg and was charged �3 extra.
