Pros: - great location, not touristy. Had umbrellas to borrow. - great lobby, with bar, food and live music. - rooms were a decent size and had white noise since the lobby bar can get loud in the evenings. - had bar soap. Good water pressure. - bed was comfy. Cons: - service staff at the lobby/restaurant/bar weren’t the most friendliest, this is expected for NY, but not at a hotel. Front desk staff were better. - room decor is slightly outdated. - shampoo/conditioner weren’t the greatest quality.

Stayed at the Roxy on valentine's. Great rooms, amazing service. Excellent staff. Will definitely come back.

Subterranean jazz spot tucked under the hotel—Paris-meets-NY vibes in a cavelike setting . Live jazz acts range from underground talents to notable performers, acoustics are world-class . Cocktails expensive but smoked duck club surprisingly good. Perfect for dates or impressing out-of-town friends. Cover charge plus drinks, but worth every penny .

Our stay at the The Roxy Hotel was absolutely exceptional. We booked the Two-Bedroom Deluxe, and it was everything you’d hope for — lovely, spacious, spotless, and effortlessly elegant. The layout gave us plenty of room to relax without feeling crowded, and the design had that perfect mix of classic New York charm and modern comfort. The staff here are so kind!! thanks to zillah, for the bubbles and carmen for rescuing my mom in the snow storm! you two rock so much. also the tall and dapper doorman who produced two paper bags :)
