VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH RESTAURANT The sample menu looked great, so took my hubby for a birthday treat. Wanted something better than the fish and chips, burger, steak and chips or pizza most places offer. I’ve included a photo of the sample menu from the website. When we got there the mains menu offered …. Fish and chips, fried Hake (fish), fried steak, mussels, burger and chips and a veggie risotto ! We both ended up with burger and chips and it was awful. The decor and view were superb though.

Lovely location / views. Just a short walk to the beach. Friendly & helpful staff make it a pleasure to stay at Rosevine. Unfortunately the rooms are very outdated and are in need of new decor. The tea and coffee is terrible, and the food isn't much better. Good job there are lots of nice places to eat nearby!
Found this small apartment hotel offering cream teas. The service was great, the gardens are lovely with amazing views back to Portscatho and the homemade cream tea was delicious. A bit off the beaten track (very walkable from Portscatho) but great value for money and well worth a visit.
