Poor quality hotel and definitely not worth the >£300/night we paid for our 2-night stay. The Rosevine is set at a wonderful location with views of the sea. Alas this is also its downfall as the owners have clearly not invested in the upkeep of the hotel, I assume on the assumption that the location alone will draw enough guests. Our son and daughter in law had their wedding there at the weekend. The accommodation is exceptional, with stunning views and provision for our dogs. The catering was outstanding. The staff are welcoming and ensure every need is met. Can’t recommend the whole experience highly enough.

We went for an evening meal. We ate outside in the garden area, weather was excellent as was the location. The food was great. Big shout to the staff especially Freddie and Hope their attention to detail was superb and customer care second to none. A very enjoyable evening.

There was no one answering phone at reception from 5 am to 8 am . Couldn’t get coffee or supplies for room. Nono structiins for anything in room . Shower was so low I can only imagine it was built for hobbits or dwarves and hot water didn’t work properly . Breakfast was awful , beware this is definately not a 5 star hotel ,
