After four years and seven different health care facilities, my sister and I have gleaned some insights into the world of eldercare! Regardless of the monthly cost, whether $5K or $10K, we found the staff to be over-worked and under-paid resulting in varying degrees of neglect, not the least of which was delayed response times to resident calls for assistance, often exceeding 30-40 minutes. For the time that I had a love one in the care of The Rose it was comforting. He was enjoying the care and attention that was given to Him. I had peace of mind knowing he was in good hands.
