We had a fantastic experience with Root Cellar Catering and highly recommend them! Planning our wedding from a different state was made so much easier by Beth, who was always responsive and helpful. She made menu planning a breeze and even scheduled a tasting for us the Tuesday before Thanksgiving (the only time we could both be in town before our wedding). April Wedding and Root Cellar brought the "best food I ever had at a wedding." Those are the words we heard over and over again from our family and friends. My wife and I were impressed from beginning to end. Beth held our hand thru the planning and her staff were so sweet and competent. As a wedding planner, I am always on the hunt for great vendors to recommend to my clients. Root Cellar definitely makes the cut! Beth was so kind and easy to work with leading up to the big day, and the catering team was on top of things, professional, and lovely the day of. Excited to work with them again in the future!
We hired Root Cellar catering for our daughter’s wedding in March 2025 (and son’s wedding Feb 2023), worked with Beth H from start to finish. Taste testing was phenomenal as were the passed appetizers to the plated steak & grilled shrimp dinners as well as late nite snack of macaroni & cheese and breakfast tacos. We had a great experience with Root Cellar as our caterer and bartenders. They answered and solved all of our questions and requests. The food was just as delicious on our wedding day as it was at the tasting and everyone (us included) raved about the ribs and mushroom pasta especially. All of the servers and bartenders were great with our guests.
