Whilst John our guide was whitty and knowledgeable he did tend to waffle about non relevant things, I was disappointed that the tour went such a small distance and did not involve the argyle cut history or the wool stores along the water front , too much time wasted chatting in the court yard of office and not enough actual walking, we were reminded it was a waking tour so let’s walk.
A fantastic afternoon tour that revealed some of the hidden corners of The Rocks. Vickie was a great storyteller who happily answered questions along the way. I would definitely recommend, just maybe check what’s going on in the area when you book - the market was on and a cruise ship in so the whole area was busy.
The best walking tour! I was able to do a historic walking tour on The Rocks with Jon, who was the most amazing and humorous guide I have ever had! That was the best history lesson in practice, with lots of interesting stories, jokes and details. In the end we made over two hours instead of 90 minutes and nobody wanted to leave! I can highly recommend this tour, you won’t be disappointed. I will definitely return and do it again!
Stan was a knowledgeable and friendly guide which made for an overall good trip and worth the cost and time.
